Sensor
•The dark current of the sensor increases for very long exposure times and/or high camera temperatures. As a result, the camera delivers brighter images. Ensure that the camera is sufficiently cooled. The longer the exposure time, the more the camera should be cooled.
Binning
•The model only supports FPGA binning and no sensor binning. Note that binning reduces the image quality and therefore its use is not recommended.
Decimation
•The model only supports FPGA decimation and no sensor decimation.
HighSpeed mode
•You can activate a special HighSpeed mode via the user sets (UserSetSelector). The HighSpeed mode allows higher frame rates, but the image quality is not quite as good as in the default mode.
FPN (fixed pattern noise) correction
•The FPN correction is enabled by default and reduces visible vertical lines in the image. These lines are caused by the sensor. They are calibrated at the factory to get a more homogeneous image.
•When FPN correction is enabled, the use of digital gain can amplify an existing residual FPN.
Line scan
•The model does not support line scan.
