Mounting and operation

The sensor heats up considerably when run at a high pixel clock. It is recommended to fix the camera housing to a thermally conductive mounting material, particularly when using models with GigE connection.

Because of heat development in the sensor, the pixel clock should be set to the lowest possible setting.

It is recommended to set the camera to standby mode if you will not be using it for a prolonged time (see is_CameraStatus()).

Trigger mode

The possible frame rate in trigger mode is independent of the exposure time. The maximum frame rate is set with the is_SetFrameRate() function, as in freerun mode. To achieve long exposure times in trigger mode, set a low frame rate.
