IDS peak 2.10.0 / uEye+ firmware 3.34

ROI

The frame rate does not increase by the use of a ROI.

Binning

The vertical height is restricted during binning.

Decimation

The model only supports FPGA decimation and no sensor decimation.

Decimation does not increase the frame rate.

Trigger

Short exposure times may result in a larger trigger delay of the camera. The active exposure via the camera's I/Os can be signaled. The individual trigger delay cannot be read out at present.

The model does not support trigger controlled exposure, see ExposureMode "TriggerControlled".

The model has a time delay between trigger and flash. If a 5 Hz trigger signal is applied to Line0, Line1 goes to "high" with a time delay.

Black level

Only deactivate the sensor's own automatic black level control if you carefully evaluate the camera's operation afterwards, as this may cause deviating image quality. It is recommended to use the sensor's own black level control.

Pixel format

Due to the manufacturer, the minimum and maximum pixel values are not used for the sensor pixel formats. For example, in a 12-bit pixel format, only the value 4094 is reached for saturation, but not 4095.

Line scan

The model does not support line scan.

Image flipping

The model does only support vertical flipping (ReverseY).
