Fig. 251: General settings
•Start image acquisition when opening a camera
If the switch is activated, the camera starts image acquisition and display immediately after opening.
•Language
Here, you can change the language of the program interface.
•Theme
Here, you can switch between a light and a dark design for the user interface.
•Default workspace
You can specify here the workspace that will be loaded when the program starts. The "No workspace" setting starts the IDS peak Cockpit without opening a camera or loading a workspace. The "last_workspace" setting is automatically saved when the program is closed, so that the last settings are restored the next time the program is started.
•Workspace path
Here, you select the location for self-defined workspaces, see Creating your own workspace.
•Save/load image processing settings file in workspace
If the switch is enabled, image processing settings are saved/loaded in the workspace, e.g. host-based image processing such as hot pixel correction etc.
•Save/load annotation file in workspace
If the switch is enabled, overlays are saved/loaded in the workspace, see Overlays.
•Save/load camera settings file in workspace
If the switch is enabled, camera parameters are saved/loaded in the workspace, see Saving/loading camera settings.
•Delete workspace without confirmation
If you enable this option, you can delete workspaces without any further confirmation prompt. This option is disabled by default to prevent unintentional deletion of a workspace.
