When you start IDS peak Cockpit, the dialog for profile selection opens.
Fig. 222: Selecting a profile
Select a profile:
• Tune image
If you select this profile, the auto features for visualization are enabled, i.e. the settings for brightness/contrast, color and host features are continuously adjusted to optimum values. If you select this profile, the following settings apply by default:
oThe camera runs in freerun mode.
oThe frame rate is set to a flicker-free value supported by the camera.
oThe auto features are enabled continuously.
oGamma and digital black are enabled for color cameras (see tone value correction).
oThe "Default" UserSet is loaded at camera startup.
oThe workspace functionality is disabled (see Creating your own workspace).
• Manual image tuning
If you select this profile, the auto features are not enabled. You can enable these manually as required. This profile is equivalent to the behavior of the IDS peak Cockpit as in previous versions without profiles.
•Do not ask me again
Check this box if you no longer want the dialog to be displayed at program start. You can change the settings under Application settings > General.
