This chapter contains the descriptions of all supported features from the GigE Vision category.

These features are GigE Vision specific and provide control over the Ethernet connection and how IP configuration is managed. Current IP configuration is restricted to IPv4 only.

Camera Identification

•GevMACAddress: The camera's MAC address. Unique identifier.

Current Connection Information

•GevCurrentIPAddress: Current IP address of the camera.

•GevCurrentSubnetMask, GevCurrentDefaultGateway: Current subnet mask and default gateway of the connection.

Connection Configuration

•GevCurrentIPConfigurationDHCP: Enables or disables using DHCP.

•GevCurrentIPConfigurationLLA: Local-link address configuration is always enabled. It serves as fallback for DHCP.

•GevCurrentIPConfigurationPersistentIP: Enables to use persistent connection settings, i.e. persistent IP address, subnet mask and gateway.

•GevPersistentIPAddress, GevPersistentSubnetMask, GevPersistentDefaultGateway: The persistent IP address, subnet mask and gateway that should be used, when persistent connection settings are enabled.

•GevSCDA: The stream channel destination address, that receives the data from the camera.

Other Network Related Parameters

•GevSCPD: Stream channel packet delay (SCDP/inter-packet delay), can be controlled with DeviceLinkThroughputLimit.

•GevGVCPPendingAck: Enables the generation of PENDING_ACK.

•GevSCPHostPort: Controls the port for sending and receiving via GVSP.

•GevSCPSPacketSize: Stream channel packet size.
