The LogMode is a special mode of some camera models. A threshold value defines when the linear sensitivity turns into a logarithmic characteristic.
With extremely short exposure times (below 0.1 ms), so-called crosstalk effects may occur in global shutter mode, for example. These cause the image content to appear brighter vertically from top to bottom. This effect can be avoided by using the LogMode.

Values description
•Off: For longer exposure times without Gain, it is possible that the sensor does not achieve white. This is due to the sensor automatism, which is supposed to prevent overexposure (blooming). The remedy here is to use a gain factor of 1.4x or setting the LogMode to "Off".
This mode should not be used for short exposure times, as otherwise the image can be extremely overexposed.
•Manual: In this mode it is possible to make information visible in overexposed parts of the image. This mode is effective for exposure times under 5 ms. In this mode, you use manual settings with LogModeManualValue and LogModeManualGain.
•Auto: Default setting for LogMode where the automatic control of anti-blooming is based on the set ExposureTime.
