Downloading the software

Please install the uEye drivers on your system before connecting a uEye camera. The latest camera drivers are available for download at https://en.ids-imaging.com/download-ueye.html.

The installation of the IDS Software Suite is described in the ReadMe file, that can also be downloaded from https://en.ids-imaging.com/download-ueye.html.

Please note that registration or login is required to download IDS Software Suite. Registration on the IDS website is free and gives you access to many useful additional functions, and detailed information about IDS products.

Note on support of older USB cameras

If you are using an older USB uEye camera, please check if it is supported by the latest driver version. Please read the information provided under Note on support of USB cameras by driver versions 3.10 and higher. This applies above all to USB cameras manufactured in 2007 and earlier.
