Exception: PoE may be considered a Network Environment 0 per IEC TR 62101, and thus the interconnected ITE circuits may be considered SELV, if: 1.the function of the ITE being investigated to IEC 60950-1 is considered not likely to require connection to an Ethernet network with outside plant routing, including campus environment; and 2.the installation instructions clearly state that the ITE is to be connected only to PoE networks without routing to the outside plant. |
