The Teledyne DALSA Xtium3-CLHS PX8 is a high-performance Camera Link HS frame grabber designed for maximum sustained throughput and high-speed image acquisition. Featuring a half-length PCI Express Gen4 x8 architecture, this single-slot, single-cable solution supports up to 7 CLHS lanes operating at 12.5 Gbps per lane, providing a total transmission rate of 87.5 Gbps. The Xtium3-CLHS PX8 delivers camera acquisition bandwidth up to 10.4 GB/s and sustained PCIe host transfer rates up to 13.5 GB/s.

Compatible with high-performance area scan and line scan cameras, the Xtium3-CLHS PX8 uses the CLHS X-protocol with 64b/66b encoding for highly efficient data transmission. Its CX4 interface supports Active Optical Cables (AOC), enabling maximum image acquisition rates over cable lengths exceeding 30 meters. Integrated data forwarding also enables incoming image data to be distributed in real time to multiple computers for high-performance distributed image processing.

The Teledyne DALSA's Sapera LT SDK is a free image acquisition and control toolkit for Teledyne DALSA 2D/3D, GigE, Camera Link, Camera Link HS cameras, and frame grabbers.
