Gidel FPGA-based frame grabbers,designed for real-time, high-bandwidth vision and image processing applications, are highly versatile, ranging from cost-effective solutions to ultra-high performance systems, and from ready-to-use frame grabbers to high-end, multi-camera custom solutions.

For application development, Gidel FPGA-based frame grabbers include ProcFG and InfiniVision software, each supported by their unique GUI and API suite for developing user applications. These high bandwidth FPGA-based frame grabbers are available with 10GigE or CoaXPress interfaces with acquisition rates from 5 Gb/s to to 400 Gb/s, depending on the frame grabber model and configuration.

In addition to Gidel's frame grabbers, Gidel CamSim™ is a sophisticated camera simulator for testing frame grabbers, and vision & imaging systems. It generates CoaXPress and Camera Link video streams and test patterns, and also supports user-defined camera protocols and interfaces. CamSim can boost productivity and lower development costs.
