SoC (System on Chip) technology
By integrating cutting-edge technology and Ambarella’s SoC (System on Chip), the IDS Imaging uEye SCP camera performs real-time editing, processing, filtering, and evaluation of image data directly on the camera. Instead of sending individual raw images, the camera concurrently transmits up to three video streams. The streams can be transmitted compressed using the RTSP protocol and H264 codec, or uncompressed using HTTP in MJPEG format, sent directly to end devices without the need of a PC. The camera performs live monitoring and in-depth post-analysis with seamless integration into different systems.

Event recording for process monitoring and analysis
With a software command or a trigger line, the camera initiates recording of video sequences in its internal persistent memory. The duration of the video captured, before, during, and after an event are configurable.
